ProfOkna: website for a window manufacturer

From indexing problems to chat, reviews and news publishing straight from Telegram.

Where we started

The client came to us with a message from Google Search Console: “Some pages on your site are not being indexed.” The website was live, but a significant share of its pages never reached search results. Our audit uncovered several overlapping problems:

What we did

01Technical foundation

Canonical links across all pages, broken links removed, meta tags rewritten, robots.txt and sitemap.xml cleaned up. A redirect from /index.html to the root — before that the homepage existed at two addresses and competed with itself.

02Loading speed

Images weighed 14.6 MB: product photos had been saved as PNG, a format not meant for photographs. After recompression and lazy loading — 4.5 MB instead of 14.6 MB, a 69% reduction with no visible quality loss.

03Structured data

schema.org markup: organisation, products with prices and images, breadcrumbs, frequently asked questions. This turns a plain search result into a rich card with price and photo.

04Visibility in AI search

An llms.txt file, explicit access for ChatGPT, Claude and Perplexity crawlers, and specific answers to customer questions on the pages — exactly the kind of content AI assistants quote.

05Website chat in Telegram

A two-way chat widget: a visitor writes on the site, the message arrives in the owner's Telegram, and the reply appears in the visitor's chat window — with no third-party service and no monthly fee.

06Reviews with moderation

Customers leave reviews on product pages and the owner receives each one in Telegram with “Publish” and “Reject” buttons. Genuine reviews only: invented ratings cost a site all of its rich results in Google.

07News publishing from Telegram

The owner sends the bot a text with a photo — the system generates an HTML page, adds it to the sitemap and marks it up as an article. Fresh content without involving a developer.

08Consistent data across platforms

Google Business, Yandex Maps and 2GIS contained different addresses, different phone numbers and typos in links. We unified everything — for local search this is a key trust signal.

!

Chat, reviews and news all run on a single Telegram bot — with no monthly fees for third-party services.

The outcome

The site cleared the technical issues reported by Google Search Console and Yandex.Webmaster. The owner publishes news from a phone without contacting a developer, and answers customers in a familiar messenger.
